SSC CGL Tier II will follow negative marking of 0.25 Marks for every wrong answer. There will be no sectional cut off. Marks will be not being deducted in case the question is left blank or un-attempted by a candidate.

Paper 1 – Quantitative Ability

This section has a higher difficulty level than Tier I. It needs lot of practice and knowledge to master the QA section.
One should learn types of shortcuts to make the calculations quicker to save time. Geometry questions are asked with a high difficulty level. Topics of geometry should be mastered and practiced at length. Algebra is another topic which covers most of the question paper thus it should be practiced. Learn the ways to solve long algebraic equations. Besides these two topics rest are asked in less number. Half of your preparation is complete with the Tier I exam preparation, the only thing is to choose the essential topics and master them thoroughly.

Paper 2 – English Language and Comprehension

English section has questions from easy to moderate level. There are few topics which are very useful which will enhance your score in Tier II, though you practiced for Tier I but these should be mastered well these are Direct Indirect Speech, Active Passive Voice, Parajumbles, RCs. If you master them with speed and accuracy you can definitely score high as number of questions are more in number than asked in Tier I.
Paper 3 – Statistics
It is a new section introduced in SSC CGL Tier II and has following topics:
Statistics
1.   Collection and Representation of Data

All these topics should be prepared thoroughly as there is no set pattern so far available. It is better to join any online test series with providing tests based on latest exam pattern and syllabus. Do not be selective in topics rather learn and study all of them as it is one of the scoring sections.

Paper 4 : General Studies (Finance and Economics

1.   Finance and Accounting
2.   Fundamental Principles
3.   Financial Accounting
4.   Basic Concepts of Accounting
5.   Self-Balancing Ledger
6.   Error Spotting and Correction
7.   Economics and Governance
8.   Comptroller and Auditor General of India

Initially this section was a part of General Studies in Tier I but in SSC CGL TIER II of 2020, it will be examined in the separate paper. Prepare well and do not leave any topic as all these topics are inter-related.
Hope this will help you make an adequate study plan to prepare for SSC CGL Tier II Exam 2020. It is advisable to prepare for both Tier I and II simultaneously so that you get enough time to practice the significant topics of Tier II which are common in Tier I.
